I've set my stride length to manual and have to keep resetting it because it comes up with a stride length that isn't right so when I go on runs it adds like 2 miles. I just want it to take where I've been and how long I did it for. Any way to remove the stride feature completely or fix this issue?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @matt_hale.
Thank you for the information provided.
Please be aware that when you track an activity with connected GPS, your Fitbit Versa 2 calculates your distance using GPS data rather than steps. If you begin moving before you get a GPS signal, your watch calculates distance using your steps until GPS connects.
Have you tried to set your stride length to automatically? This option works fine for many users. If you still want to set your own stride length, please make sure you've followed the instructions in this article in the menu "Can I change my stride length in my Fitbit account?".
See you around.
