I'm not getting alerts-Versa

I overslept today thinking I slept through the vibration of alarm.  Then I noticed my versa never alerted me for messages, reminder to walk or when I achieved my step goal.  It worked yesterday!  I'm getting very frustrated with this "smart" watch. First it sees my walks as elliptical exercise and GPS not working and now this!!!  Very frustrating FITBIT!!!

My Versa’s vibration stopped working today.  I had to restart it yesterday per Fitbit support b/c my sleep tracking was not working correctly.  Though the reset fixed my sleep tracking problem, the vibration hasn’t worked since the device reset yesterday.  Hopefully they can find a fix for this.  I’ll post something here if I get a response from Fitbit Support as I have a case open.

Just to give an update, the Fitbit Customer Support emailed me back and sent me instructions to do a factory reset.  However, the instructions they sent me were for the Ionic and not the Versa, which made me question if I was sent the right information.  I’ve emailed them back for clarity.

How do you do a factory reset?  Hold both buttons on side of phone?  I did that and still NO vibration!

I think they need to adjust the strength of the vibration. It just not strying enough. Even when slelcting strong option.

This is what they sent me.  I don’t have time to try right now at work.  If you can try, please let me know if it fixes the issue.  (Reset and factory reset are two different things.)

We want to let you know that the correct steps to factory reset the Versa, are the following:
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.

@Zumbzbarre: This may be true.  However, even when I set a timer or alarm, I can literally watch it count down to 0 and it absolutely does not vibrate.  It did the first day I had it, and then stopped working once I had to do a reset to fix sleep tracking.

Where do you select strength of vibration?

I tried to do this.  I held all the buttons until fitbit logo came on.  I released bottom right button and continued to hold waiting for a vibration.  Well the screen went blank and there was not a vibration.  this was after holding for about 20 seconds.  I have tried it 3 times without vibration.  I am beyond frustrated with my versa!

My versa is vibrating but for three nights did not do sleep stages, I just found that the heart rate was turned off, I have no clue how that happened in settings so it could not stage me without HR.

Swipe left from the from the clock face till you see settings with the gear symbol. Select that. Scroll up till you get to vibrations. You should see either normal or strong. Those are the only two options.

Hold all three buttons until you see the fitbit logo when the logo disappears let go of the lower right button right away holding the other two buttons for about a minute this will reset your watch

I also had this same issue.  It would never go to factory reset.  I ended up doing a factory reset from the watch face under settings.  That forced the factory reset.  I redid the entire setup process.  I then videoed my watch to “prove” that it still won’t vibrate.  I emailed them the videos and they responded by telling me that I needed to video the whole factory reset process.  I told them no and offerred to send my device to them for further review.  I haven’t gotten a follow-up response yet.  I also told them I don’t appreciate being accused of lying about doing a factory reset.  For goodness sake, I’ve owned an Ultra, Flex, Charge HR and Blaze.  I’m only expecting the same level of quality I’ve had from their own devices.

Have you had any luck with yours?

Wow!!  I did factory reset finally with fitbit person on phone.  I then had to send them a video of what my phone did when alarm went off (no vibration).  They want me to send fitbit back and issuing me a replacement.

I was also asked to send my Versa back today for them to see.  Hopefully we will each get replacement devices that will work correctly.  I think my sleep tracking was accurate the last couple of days, so i think that issue was resolved for me.
