did you also change your clock face?
The first night I got the Versa I got a good graph, but don't know if I had the original face.
Every night since then, I've had the general graph and a custom clock face.
Then last night I switched back to the stock clock face and got the detailed graph.
I'll try again tonight with the original again and see what happens, if I still get a good graph, I'll try a custom face and see if I have trouble again.

The clock face doesn't impact the heart rate monitor...

It shouldn't, but it could effect the sleep graph. I think it's a good idea to keep testing the theory since it looks like there is a correlation.

@Cantryboy yeah I know that.
And before someone says you have to have a consistent HR for the stages to read...

i'm returning my Versa, I couldn't even try my clock face theory because I tried to start from scratch again and now won't update at all, getting a 502 error or something like that

I'm having the same problem. For April my Versa displayed the old graph 20 days out of 30.

I had the same thing first night i got the detailed graph, when wearing my versa on my dominant wrist, then the next night I wore it on my non-dominant wrist and got the regular graph, and the third night wore it on my dominant wrist and got the detailed graph again...

When u change to dominant hand did u change also the setting on your Fitbit watch to dominant hand ? As I know it the default setting is non dominant hand . I guess if u change which hand you wear you need to update on your devices , maybe it helps to get a accurate and details graph
