Inaccurate distance calculation

I have had my Versa Lite for one week. For the first three days, all was well with step/mile relationship. Since then, the fitbit is counting steps correctly, but mileage reading is inaccurate, e.g., today walked 8690 steps, but mileage only reads 1.07 miles. My height is 5.8 and my stride should be about 28" per step. I have tried both letting the Versa automatically calculate stride and have manually entered stride; mileage calculation still inaccurate in both setting? How do I fix?

Improved tracking, but seems that walking on a treadmill continues to read distance inaccurately.

From your description, this doesn't seem to be the issue, but do be aware when walking on treadmill, if you are holding hand rail, steps might not get counted.  That would reduce both steps and distance, so not your issue issue if you are getting steps counted okay on treadmill.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Steps count correctly. Only mileage is wrong.
