Hi . My versa fitbit is significantly out when calculating mileage. Auto set suggests my stride is 27.25 based on my height . To reset it for greater mileage accuracy doi increase my leg stride or decrease it on the advanced settings ? Thanks . G

You should try and estimate your stride length and enter it yourself. You may already have that information in your walks where you know the actual distance and the number of steps which you can use to calculate the number. If you are not sure of the exact numbers then you should try and estimate it via the method in this link.
