Inaccurate water logs Versa 2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I am having such a frustrating time trying to get my Versa 2 to correctly log and sync water intake. Last week, it wasn't syncing between the device and phone,  this week it is syncing the water but in the wrong amount. For example I enter "24oz" and logs on the app as .86oz. what the heck?

Hello @AOToole10, welcome to the Community Forums! It's a pleasure to assist you today.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the details that were shared in your post, I totally understand how frustrating this logging inconvenience can be for you. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? Which mobile device are you using? If you haven't already done so, please try the following steps:

Force quit the Fitbit app.
Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
Make sure that the OS version of your phone is up to date.
Reboot your mobile device.
Reinstall the Fitbit app.
Login using your account credentials.
Let me know if the issue persists.

Also, please restart your Versa 2 following the steps that are specified on: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Keep me posted.

This is a problem that has been reported many times and is well known to Fitbit. The sync process is mistakenly applying the ml -> fl oz conversion (divide by 29.57) even though the amount is already entered as fl oz. I don’t know if the fixes suggested by RicardoFitbit work, but a work around is to switch units to ml and enter amounts in ml (eg. for 10 fl oz enter 300 ml).
