Inacurate steps

Hey guys

Today I have done maximum 1000 steps but for some reason my verse is saying I've done 55,000. This is the first time this has happened. Does anyone know why this has happened or how I can reset this? Thanks

Did your Versa reset at midnight this morning?

Have you manually added any exercise?

Just got my Versa Lite.  Love it!  However, I noticed that when I was counting money for work, it was logging steps?!  There has got to be something going on.

@Sbrunket set the arm to dominate.

Yes there is something going on, the tracker is mounted on the arm, not the leg.

The tracker really has no idea what the feet are doing but has to look at arm motions to determine if the feet are stepping.

Sometimes arm movements may be deceitful and give false input to the tracker, making Fitbit think the legs are stepping.

There will be other times when the feet are moving and the arm movements say, no the are not and steps are lost.
