While using rowing machine heart rate will start out at an average heart rate. Will go to 130 bpm then drop off to 114 or so. I check it with the heart rate on my phone and it's reading 140 to 150 bpm. And that's what my heart really feels like. I have reset unit washed it before my workout. I have even shaved the hair where my watch sits thinking it might be an issue. It's not on my wrist but a few inches up where it says to be. Any help would be great.

@Jsoch i am wondering if the type of wrist movement might impact the readings here and perhaps you need to test different tracker positions. Also, maybe you could try measuring the heartrate during a different type of exercise e.g. run or elliptical. I wouldn't like to recommend factory reset if it's not necessary.
