On a support chat about a different issue and they told me to post here. I find it a bit frustrating (just a bit, not like a lot) that in the FitBit app, the weeks go from Sunday to Saturday. For example, in the exercise and sleep areas, you can view your total or average stats for the week starting on SUNDAY. However, in the weekly progress email I receive on Tuesdays, those have the weeks running from Monday to Sunday. It just makes it a little tricky to track progress that way and I would love to see those two areas be consistent. I don't particularly care when they choose to start and end the week, as long as everywhere FitBit has it the same.

Did you know that you can go into your settings and change your week to match the email @BrittanyScripps
We can choose which day to end the week, we can not change the day of the email

@Rich_Laue So we should just change our app to match Fitbits mail, since Fitbit won't go by OUR chosen day to start OUR week? Silly answer. I just ignore the useless emails.
@BrittanyScripps It's been that way as long as I've been around. They give you the option in your settings what day you start your week, but they can't or won't match the email to a Sunday start.

I didn't tell you what to do, I simply was telling how to fix it

@Rich_Laue Fitbit gives you a choice in app. But they won't adjust the email to a Sunday start. My week has started on Sunday my whole life, as does the Calendar week. You seriously think changing your settings to start you week on Monday is a fix? Yes your app will match the email then, but what if you like setting your goals to starting on Sunday, and have your whole life?

So @Rich_Laue instead of recommending we change our goals to match the weekly report, how about explaining why there is an option to start your week on Sunday or Monday, but the report won't reflect a Sunday start?

I never said that it was a fix. @BrittanyScripps asked how to get the two in alignment, I simply explained, since fitbit has a set day for the email, we need to adjust something else.
My answer was based on the original post, and not your un-asked question.
You could go into your settings and turn off these emails. Last I looked a week is composed of 7 days or 7 days makes a week. OK it may be shifted but it is still a week.
BTW my week starts on Saturday

Thank you SO much @Rich_Laue! I REALLY appreciate your help and assistance. I actually do prefer my weeks to start Monday, same as StepBets and other challenges, as well as my WW week and have changed the app to reflect that. I’m EXTREMELY happy with this and apologize this thread turned into a dumpster fire of negativity. You guys are doing the best you can and you can’t please everyone (clearly).

Well, excuse me! Would have thought just changing your settings would be obvious. But the fact remains. You have an option when to start your week in the app, but your weekly summary will still be Monday through Sunday regardless.

@Rich_Laue Thanks for the heads up about disabling the emails. I suppose I should do that.
