Intermittent Bluetooth headphone audio after starting a run on Versa

I've managed to figure out a pattern now with audio on my bluetooth headphones when connecting to my Versa, to play music stored on the watch via Deezer.

  1. If I just switch on my headphones and play Deezer from the watch it works perfectly (with my wrist at arms length).
  2. If I then start exercise, my watch attempts to connect to my phone for GPS. As soon as this starts, I will loose audio to my headphones if I move my versa more than 8 inches from my head. So if I'm running it just cuts in and out constantly.

I think if I turn off connected GPS it might solve the problem...but sometimes I take my phone...sometimes I don't...so I don't want to have to keep changing settings.

Does anyone else have this problem or have solved it? It does seem like the versa can't manage to stream audio to headphones while trying to connect GPS.

Thank you in advance!

Welcome to the Community @mrlamboI'm sorry for the late response. Thanks for sharing your findings about using headphones with your Versa.

In some cases the Bluetooth version might be or not affecting the signal. It also depends on the type of headphones the users have.

If the music sounds distorted when using earbuds paired with your Versa, please try the following:

- Restart your Versa
- Unpair and repair your Bluetooth headphones
- Make sure to wear your Versa on the same side as the receiver on the headphones

If you continue having issues with your music, please take a look at the help article: Why can't I control music with my Fitbit device?
