Hello Versa Experts,
I've been wearing a Fitbit Charge 2 for some time, and have had a good experience with the watch. However, I'm looking for a Fitbit that tracks split times for running, and I was told on another board to check out Versa and Ionic.
So I'm looking for some info on exactly how this works on the Versa. For instance, when running a race, I'd like to be able to start a lap time at a mile marker, and see how long that mile took on the watch itself, and then repeat it for the next mile, etc.
It's a basic function of all running watches, but I'd love to hear from someone who uses the function on the Versa, and can tell me about the ease of use.
Thanks!

Hi there @SunsetRunner, always is nice to see you are visiting the Fitbit Community. My apologies for the late response, I saw you have some questions about Split times while you are running.
You can use the Connected GPS feature of your Versa to have split times. This is only possible while your exercise is being recorded with GPS.
Your Versa will give you the option to configure your run settings between showing your Laps as modifying the lap type by kilometers, minutes or calories. In addition, you can also configure the gap of each lap, depending of your preference.
You can find more information here: How do I use exercise apps and modes on my Fitbit device?
Hope this helps and see you until the next opportunity.

This is a real shame!
I need some kind of timer for gaps between my sets at the gym.
With the flex 2, I could run the exercise app and stopwatch at the same time. This isn't possible with the Versa. The lap option doesn't give you the option to see the laps until you've finished the exercise.
An update to the software so Icould use the stopwatch when exercising would be very helpful.

Same problem here, only I want to use a manual lap button to mark rounds in my Crossfit workouts.
