Apparently not.  Here is the list of Approved Devices so you can double check.

This list is only of phones that have been tested, troubleshooted, and the app modified if needed, and found to be working 

There are many phones that dos.work that are not yet on the list. The best way is to try, or do a search of the Fitbit Forum with the phone model. 

I would also search for your phone model on the Versa board. both run the same OS.

Hi Temmie,

I'm currently thinking about getting the fitbit versa too, and i also have the samsung A3 (2017). It seems so risky to buy the fitbit since my phone is not on the 'compatible devices' list, but then again a lot of people say the fitbit works just fine with most phones. 

Does everything work okay with your versa and samsung A3?
