Issues Galore.. Fitbit dead

It's sad going through the list and seeing the complaints in the forum, only to realise that I have been experiencing almost all if not all these issues in the past month or so.

Fitbit was not syncing with app, steps were not being logged properly, sometimes not logged at all, heart rate not being monitored("--"), screen stuck on fitbit logo, black screen, blinking screen, frozen screen, water logged not showing, a line on the side of my screen... You name it I got it over the past month or so.

The issues sorted out after mulitple reboots, shutdowns and start overs but got worse when I showered with the device over the weekend. Here I was thinking oh it's water resistant so it would all be good.. Wiped it off real good after... And then... All the issues returned one by one and now it seems that my fitbit watch is dead. It has been on the charger for the longest while and nothing. Nada. Zilch. Sighhh.

I am completely disappointed with my device. This being my first official fitness tracker, apart from the app which came with my phone.

I do not know where to go from here but just thought I should share.

I was part of a 28 day challenge which I had to quit today, with 12 days remaining,  and I am totally crushed.

Hi, if I were you, I would contact Customer Support about these issues, this is absolutely not normal. Sorry to read of all the issues you have gotton with your Versa. Once it works like it should to, it's a gorgeous piece of technology.

Thank you for your feedback Kuzibri. I contacted support and the matter has been resolved.

A replacement has been ordered for me and I should be receiving it in about a week.

I am satisfied with the outcome.

Still a bit puzzled as to how one device got all the problems it can ever have though. I got no explanation on that but received an apology and a new Fitbit. All in all.. A bad day ends on a good note. Still will not be able to continue my challenge but there will be another one.
