After running the latest update on my Versa (that's been perfectly fine for a year!), after charging the device to 100% and turning it OFF at night, in the morning I have to 10-second press the back & bottom buttons to turn the device on, AND the battery is down to 30-45%, AND it's not keeping time/date until synced now. I just chatted with a Fitbit customer service rep who is having me test the battery length from the time it's 100% charged to when it completely dies. This is not just a sudden "battery" issue, the thing won't turn on or stay charged now over night ALL BECAUSE of the update 2 days ago! C'mon, this is ridiculous. I'm past warranty, so I'll be expected to buy a new one if "they" determine it's the battery malfunctioning. What can I do? Thanks.

After now chatting and speaking on the phone to Fitbit customer service, they are telling me that it's only a battery defect, NOTHING to do with the update I ran AN HOUR before the Versa stopped turning on & holding battery life while turned off overnight!!!!!! And that I'll get 25% off a new Fitbit purchase?!?!?! Oh c'mon, Fitbit. This is not an "all of a sudden" issue with a perfectly working device. This timed perfectly with the shotty update that was provided in the app and now I am expected to give you more of my money because you broke my perfectly find device???
Is there a new update coming to fix what the latest update screwed up?

Both my wife and I have had issues this morning (3/3/2021). She has an aspire and I have a Fitbit 2. She restarted her phone and is ok. I cannot get back in. Repeated password changes in Google have had no effect. Repeated messages of “oops”
