I am left handed. I have the app set to non dominant hand because I wear the fitbit on my right hand. But how does the app know I am left handed? Is there somewhere to tell it that I am left handed?
Thanks

It probably doesn't know. nor does it need to know. It simply asks if the tracker is on your more active arm or less active arm.

Dr. Wasserman, it would be advisable to edit out your email address in your post on this public Forum. Click on the three dots at the upper right of your post and select "Edit Reply".

What matters is that you probably move your non dominant hands less than your dominent hand and Fitbit's algorithm will account for that. (From a fellow lefty ☺)

I am left handed and had the device in my right hand with it set as non dominate. However, I work at a desk all day and I found it was counting steps when I was using the mouse. I have since put it on my left hand to test how that does.
