I plugged my Fitbit up before I used it when I brought it. I got my fitbit on the 18th .Today is the 20th and it is only on 60% so 3 days so far without charging it is awesome! I'm just wondering if I need to let my fitbit die all the way before I charge it or not?

I wouldn't let it go below 10%.  There shouldn't be a problem letting it go down all the way but some folks have reported problems getting it started back up so better safe than sorry.

I have an Ionic and a Charge 2.  The Ionic uses the exact same Operating System as the Versa.

Mine made it exactly 5 days with a single charge.  But then it was completely dead.  Spring back to life after about 3 mins on the charger.

It is not a good idea to run Lithium Ion batteries down to zero. I know we all do at times, but for better battery life recharge at 10% minimum. Preferably more. See

I never knew that. I always was under the impression that to let it completely die was the best. Well I guess I learn something new everyday. Will never let it die completely. Thanks for the tip!!!

It is NOT good to run them to zero, so why does Fitbit not give us the ability to turn the devices off?

I was at 30% after 4 days.  I was surprised how quickly the battery drained on day 5.  So keep an eye on that. Obviously it’s not linear.  The gauge isn’t 100% correct. I will charge after 4 days now.

Swipe left to Settings.  Touch and scroll down to About.  Touch and scroll down to Shutdown (AKA "turn off").

I get about 2.5 days out of mine. I don't mind though, as I work a desk job and can charge it at any time of the day. I'm sure once I get all of my settings refined, and more updates roll out, it should get better.......I'm hoping.
