Every time I open the App I get a message about enabling Location Access. I do not want to do this but it won’t take my No Thanks for an answer. The App seems to think that it knows what I want better than I do. It’s wrong. How can I stop it doing this, please, as it’s ruining the App experience for me? There’s no way I’ll buy another Fitbit if this carries on...

Hi @emmajn , in the Dashboard of your Fitbit app, press your profile picture to go to your account. On the new page you will see, scroll down to "Advanced Settings" and press it. On the third place of this page you will see "Automatic Location" and disable it. This should do the trick. If it does not do that, after changing it as described above, restart your Versa three times with the two buttons method or by going to settings- device info - shutdown. Regards kuzibri

What type of phone do you have @emmajn? without this info we will not be able to help.

On android location services are required by the android OS, fitbit is simply reminder the user.

Hi @tmorrow6709 without knowing anything about what phone or what operating system your I phone is running in not sure if I can answer your question. Also I'm not sure what the issue you havr?

If you do not want to give Fitbit permission for location access. If on android You may have to down grade to version 8, along with the insecurity that during a sync someone could remotely take complete control of your phone.

I have an Iphone 7+, IOS 13.7.  It is a frustrating pop up.  I tried to, from the versa 2, turn off gps thru exercise – no luck.  I have also gone to settings and answered “never” to location.  Any and all other suggestions most welcome!  Thanks.
