MP3 Unsupport file type error

The Fitbit desktop app says some of my MP3 files are unsupported.  Can someone look at the details below on my MP3 files to see why one is unsupported and the other is.

Hi @LoneStarState,

Thanks for posting all this information. Fitbit doesn't have much detail in their documentation about what types are supported, so it's good we can compare experiences.

I can't say offhand what the problem is for sure. It could be the LAME library, but I am going to guess that it's the sampling rate. 22 is really low. I also noticed an invalid value for minimum bit rate that might be throwing things off. Hopefully the 64kbps rate is high enough. Most of mine are 256.

The only other thing that sticks out is the constant vs. variable bit rate. But I'd be genuinely surprised if that was the problem.

Can you try re-encoding the song on the left to a higher bit rate and see if that works?

Work out...eat... sleep...repeat!

Thanks for the tip.  I'm on vacation now but I'll rip the CD again.  I ripped CDs years ago and I think I just used windows media player to do it.

I sure wish Fitbit developers would post the guidelines for what they accept.

Did you ever find a solution to this?

I have a Win 7 laptop and the Versa and I cannot get it to accept any of my MP3 files.
