Manual Water Lock Versa 3

Did I just buy another fitbit where I can't turn on a water lock manually? I just bought a Versa 3 and I wear it while I Box/Kickbox. My glove is constantly turning off the exercise on my Versa 3. This wasn't much of an issue with my Versa 2 because it required two screen presses to pause or end an exercise. It did happen once in a while but not very often. My Versa 3 is basically worthless for boxing which is one of my primary forms of exercise.

I figured that a water lock was an easy enough feature to implant that it would be included on the Versa 3. Did I make a mistake or am I simply not finding a feature that is there?

I’m aware of is if you choose “ swimming” as the exercise

@Mavii  - if you are not happy with the watch you can always get a refund if you only just got it.

There is no watch lock, except for swimming.

Use the swimming excersise feature.  Double tap the button on the side to exit the swimming excersise

How do I use the swimming exercise and the boxing exercise at the same time? I need a screen lock while I'm boxing so that my gloves don't active the screen and either pause or end the exercise.

Hi  Mavii, I’ve had these problems when weight lifting.  It is so annoying!

I found these suggestions for a workaround.  Give these a try.  Sometimes they work sometimes not.  Maybe the next gen will have a lockout feature.
