Hello, I did 4 miles and over 6K steps on my elliptical today, and the FB was WAAAAY off. Questions, can I manually correct this somehow? If no, what would be a better way to ensure thet the FB is closer in estimating my workout results w/ this exercise? I've been manually entering time and distance in my old Map That Run app, and it's always been fairly consistent to the Precor's distance...calorie burn is a shot in the dark, I get that, but the delta in FB step count and distance was a joke compared to the machine or MMR. Thanks in advance!!

It's great to see you around @Userbosco.
Regarding your inquiry, there is a way to edit your activities. Take a look at the help article How do I edit or delete Fitbit data and activities? and follow the instructions provide there. Also, can you please tell how are you registering your exercises? For me the best way to do it, is to select the activity directly from the watch. If you don't see the activity, follow the steps in the article How do I customize the exercises on my Fitbit device?.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks for the response! However, monster glaring deficiency in adding a custom activity...
--- You can't add steps!!!! ----
It allows you to add distance and calories along with time and date...BUT NO STEPS! So I spend 40 minutes this AM on an elliptical, rack up over 7,000 steps, but only ~ 900 steps show on the dashboard...WTF? FB doesn't even know the math behind total distance and my average gate to estimate steps? That's pitiful. Then I tried entering my interval workout info (same machine), and it give ZERO steps. What use is this device, seriously?
