Hello,
When I look at the maps after my runs, they look incomplete. I would expect since I am doing mainly large circle runs, that the red line on the map should show me leaving and coming all the way back to the same point (i.e. my house). Yet, the last few runs, it shows me starting the the house, and then, the end point is a good half a mile away, on each instance. In other words, it doesn't seem to show my house as the end point.
Below are two images to illustrate--the red line should go completely back to the starting point in "Kiltimagh," but it doesn't. It looks as though I stopped the workout before getting back to the starting point, which I didn't. I actually walked from Kiltimagh, all the way back to Kiltimagh. So why doesn't the red line show this accordingly?
Maybe I am misunderstanding how these maps should look? I'm very confused and appreciate any help that you can give. Many thanks.

@andrealynch Versa is losing GPS connection with your phone.

Thanks for your help.
If it is losing connection, how can I stop it from doing this? I have the bluetooth on the whole time, and good connection to 4G.
Also, one of the maps above says my run was 4.85 miles, for example, but the loop is missing a piece, does that actually mean I went further than that? Because it seems to me the route would be longer, if it actually kept track accurately and showed the red line all along the route.
Thanks for your help.

One other thought: Ever since the first day I had it, I notice the Versa constantly says "connecting", even though my bluetooth is on and the phone is with me. I don't know if that is part of the problem, or how to fix it? But, it would be doing this on places on the map where it IS showing up in red? So it is not only happening on the last bit of the walks, where the red stops. Just not very happy with the versa overall, a big disappointment, my in opinion, especially for swimming, which is my other main activity.
Anyways, thanks for your help.

@andrealynch yes, it seems like it's dropping the connection several times (you can see it on the map as well where these long entirely straight lines are). Yes, your route might be longer. Unfortunately, it is known problem that seems to be prevalent especially with the newer versions of Fitbit app and certain phone models. What's your phone model, OS, Versas firmware and Fitbit mobile app version?

My Versa is doing the same thing. It is actually crashing and rebooting in the middle of my runs. The reason I know this is because AI stream music from it . The music will stop, I'll look at it, and I'll see the FitBit logo. My tracker will show 5hat my workout ended at that point and I will have to start a second workout.

@THEPEA Have you tried rebooting the tracker several times by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until fitbit logo flashes? Could you disable connected GPS in the options of Run exercise, and test if Versa still keeps rebooting?

So I did reboot prior to my last run. I also deleted some music so it was less than half of the available memory for the music. I also opted to not stream music from my Versa. I had no problems on that run. Next time I will stream music again as I suspect that might be the trigger. If there is no problem after that, it must have something to do with the available memory.
