Hi,

I get a notification that I have a message, but I am not able to read the text messages on my fitbit Versa, Is anyone else having this problem?  I can read my whatsapp messages, but not regular text messages. Also, when someone calls me my watch takes a long time to show me someone is calling, it takes about 4 rings for my watch to alert me. Is there a way that alerts can be set at less than 10 seconds?

 I have the same problem with iPhone. Text messages appear on the watch yet it’s barely half of the first sentence. How can I read the whole sentence On the watch?

Funny enough, the fitbit app serous Im in DND and won't recurve
notifications... but I'm still getting them from Facebook Messenger and
text messages and all the other apps I have set up for notifications.

I was having the same issue with my Versa.  Here's a fix that worked for me.  I have a Galaxy S7 phone and did this:  Open the Messages app on your phone, tap menu in the upper right corner, tap Settings, tap Notifications, turn on "Preview Message".

I have the same problem. I have done all the troubleshooting I can find and now it will not even display that I have a message let alone what the message is.

I have the fitbit versa and it only vibrates when someone calls and only notifies me of emails. It does not tell me when I have a call or any text messages l. How can I get it to tell me

I have a Moto z2 and have the same problem. The Fitbit app updated today and I still cannot see messages on my Fitbit. Any help???

Thanks for the tip but it didn't work for me.  I am getting emails but not getting text messages. Very strange.  I just got the Versa today so maybe it just needs some time to really sync with my system.  Oddly enough, when I completed the set up, it worked....then 3 hours later texts were not coming through.  Unfortunate.

I was having all sorts of trouble with my Versa receiving messages.  I tried every resolution I could find (eg. reset bluetooth, delete device from account and re-install, etc.)  I was at the point of returning it.  Then, two days ago, the Versa went dead during the night (ran out of battery).  The next morning, I charged the device and messaging has been working flawlessly ever since.  An odd solution, but it's worth a try if everything else has failed.

Thanks as I was considering buying the Versa for my dad who is in his early 70s, doesn't sound like too user friendly with the notification.....Any other suggestion all?

I am using MI Note 3 prime and I am unable to connect my phone with Fitbit Versa.

first thing, it gets connected for 2-3 mins and after that it gets disconnected.

I am unable to get notification regarding calls, messages.

please suggest how to resolve this?

I don't get any messaging,and my WiFi and Bluetooth are on.
