I set my watch to run last night but at the end of it my readings were nearly a whole mile difference compared to my fellow runners, throughout my run the watch was flashing ‘connecting’? What am I doing wrong please?

Hello @KazMck1 and a warm welcome.  When you start a GPS connected exercise, you select the exercise and then you see the animated "connecting".  Your Versa will vibrate and the phone icon will changed to "connected".  Now you can start your run.

It sounds like your phone never connected to your Versa.  Here is a link to a Help article that will help you troubleshoot your connection issue.  Also, what model phone are you using?

Hi, i am using an iphone 7plus, I don't want to take my phone when out running so why does it still say connecting and my mileage isn't monitored?
Thanks
