Is there a monthly service fee with Fitbit and/or wireless phone carrier in order to receive calls and texts?

Of course, there isn't. You just pay for the phone carrier plan you have for example Verizon or AT&T. By the way, how much do spend on your phone carrier plan? For example, I pay $25 per month for my Verizon plan. Why so little? Well because after 10 months of using it, you pay less. The first month they charge you $35-40. And I also have a second number with lots of opportunities there.
