Multiple "active call" notification on Versa 2

  • I did the IOS update this morning and When I receive phone calls and texts my Versa 2 Fitbit pushes multiple notifications. For example, when I was on a call every 3-5 seconds the Fitbit buzzes and lights up with a notification. I was on a 10 min call and had almost 100 notifications to clear saying ‘active call’— it’s driving me nuts! I’ve restarted and disconnected Bluetooth a few times. Please help!

Is there an update to this ? I have a Versa 2 and this is a very annoying problem to have. It looks like this issue has been around since October/November of 2019 and it is now February 2020. Would there be an ETA for this ?

Thanks for joining this thread and letting me know that you're having the same issue with your Versa 2. I understand how you're feeling about this constant notification. Our team has been investigating about this matter to bring a solution as quickly as possible. Currently I don't have a time frame when this will be fixed, but I'll update this thread once there are more details.

I just got a Charge 5 and apparently this problem has been known for two years!!! It sounds like an iOS issue (https://www.reddit.com/r/withings/comments/itutvn/disable_active_call_notification_how/), but this seems ridiculous. I got around 15 of these during a 30 minute call. The best solution I came up with is to take off my Charge during the call.

I am having this same problem with my new Charge 5 and it's almost making me regret my purchase 😞  When I'm on a call, my fitbit vibrates repeteadly during the call telling me I'm on an active call 🙄. Please fix this so I don't have to switch to Apple watch!!!

I’ve got the Charge 4.  It does the same thing with me too still.  Even after reading about deleting and removing from Bluetooth, etc.  It still keeps saying “active call” every few seconds.  It is nerve racking to say the least.  😞😞😞

Anyone at Fitbit care to comment? It's really frustrating that the company seems unable to squash bugs like these. It definitely makes one think about alternatives to Fitbit!

Unfortunately, I'm having this issue too.  I know you can turn off notifications for calls in the app, but I actually like the initial notifications.  The issue is the reoccurring "active call" notifications I receive while I'm on a call

62 votes so far, which is kind of wild given how annoying and pointless the notification is. At least it's not in "Not Currently Planned" status, so there's hope. LOL
