Hello @Heididawn7 and welcome to the Community.  Battery swelling is a sign of a battery failure.  Stop, and I mean STOP trying to charge it as is could start a fire.  Dispose of your Versa 3 as e-waste by your local rules, unless it is covered by a warranty.
