My Versa screen went blank

I got my Fitbit Versa in January 2019. I paid close to $280 NZD and was very happy but that was very short lived. My strap broke in about 6 months time, I got a replacement but they didn't have the stock of the one that I wanted and I got sent a leather strap. Then in around 8 month's time (from the time I purchased) my Dial/screen's battery started playing up and it wouldn't even last a day.Fitbit support advised me that it could be a faulty battery and sent me a replacement, they didn't have the color I wanted so sent me a replacement of some random color that was close to what I had asked for. Now 10 months into the new screen/dial everything looked OK until yesterday. Screen just went blank, I contacted the support and was advised that the piece could be faulty. Yet again!

 

My question to you is, if I buy a regular wrist watch worth say $100.00 the strap would last for a few years ( I have used watches so i know this for a fact) so why should i spend close to $300.00 and get something that  doesn't even last a few months? And the quality of the product itself is terrible. 2 battery replacements and a strap replacement in 1.5 years.

 

You cant say it is the usage that is the reason because my Garmin lasted me 3 years, I never had to contact them once in the 3 years.

 

Thank you Fitbit just replacing the products wont get you or win over customers. You definitely need to work on the quality of every thing in your product.

I am getting another replacement and I am now waiting to see how long that will last, like I mentioned earlier, i am not here asking for free stuff or replacements. Your products and their durability suck.
