Well I've given up..I took my Versa 2 back exchanged it for a Galaxy Gear S3
Straight out of the box the S3 connected to my phone no more of that annoying"looking for device" I got when syncing the Versa the S3 seamlessly syncs all day I don't have that "GPS running" pop up I get notifications straight away with sound! And oh look it tracks my sleep!!!!
I really resisted giving up because I loved my Blaze and my Ionic but I paid nearly £200 for a device that didn't do what it was supposed to if it was just me I would of preservered but I saw loads of posts in the forum's of the Versa 2 not tracking sleep not syncing battery draining heart rate dropping out everything my Versa was doing every time I got in contact with customer support I got the same..."try these trouble shooting steps"...which I did countless times to no avail
The assistant at the shop I got it from said so many people have brought them back for refund/exchange.. they're actually bracing themselves for after Xmas of disappointed customers bringing them back because they got the new versa for Xmas .. something is not right and until Fitbit acknowledge it then I'll swerve their products
I want to say thanks to everyone in the community who gave advice and tips
If they release a Ionic 2 and it's as good as the first I might come back!
