My new Versa 3 overheated on my wrist, super hot to touch then went dead and won’t charge. 😢 I had it for 3 weeks, did not get it wet or do anything crazy with it. How do I get a replacement I’ve been reading this is happening with the lithium ion batteries?

@Refriess I haven't read this keeps happening. Hasn't happened to me. Where did you buy it? If from a retailer, I'd try return or exchange. Fitbit doesn't exchange if you bought from them. You'd have to pay return shipping and get a refund, or take a warranty through them, and you'd likely get a refurbished pebble if you do the warranty replacement.

Thanks Mark, this is the first Fitbit I’ve owned that has had the issue, I found reports on the over heating batteries and recall information on google. Purchased through Amazon from a retailer. Super bummer. Will have to see if I can return it and get a new one. Getting a refurbished one after paying for a brand new one three weeks later would stink.
