I bought a Versa last week from QVC. Unfortunately I the battery only holds a charge for 4 to 5 hours. I have been reading through the forum and it seems like the problem came about with the most recent firmware update. People that have had the Versa for months are just now having problems with battery drain, and most are mentioning the problem started after the update. I have contacted support and they have offered to replace my versa. At no time has support mentioned a firmware fix. My concern is if I accept the replacement and it works, but then they do another firmware update that causes the 2nd versa to stop working, what will my options be if it is after my warranty period expires. I really want to be able to use the versa, so part of me wants to get the replacement, however I don't want to get stuck with something that is useless most of the time. Right now it takes almost 2 hours to charge and only works for an avg of 4 hours. I know that with all electronics, things go wrong every time there is an update, but at least with my computer and phone, as soon as people start contacting support, they usually have a fix within a few days. It looks like the battery drain problem started happening for a lot of people back in December. I would appreciate any thoughts on my situation.

I use my Versa all the time and have no battery drain problems since the last update or any other time. I cant tell you what you shoukd do, but if mine died I get another like a shot. It is my favourite tracker of all time.
