My new Fitbit Versa is not syncing to my phone. It is fully charged I have restarted the fitbit along with my phone, restarted the bluetooth like asked and still nothing. When the walk thru setup Searches for the Versa on my phone it can find it but then it keeps searching and will not connect. I have tried for hours including deleting the app and reinstalling it. I have a Samsung galaxy S5 which is listed as being a compatible phone. Please help.

I thought this was an issue with my phone, but I am having the exact same problem. On wifi that I have used to sync in the past my versa will not sync. I've tried restarting the app, my versa, my wifi connection, my phone and it won't sync. This happens at random times and I just end up waiting hours until it decides to work again, one time for an entire day!

Currently some issues, including me, are having sync issues with the latest two Android Fitbit app updates.
As for the sync process, this uses Bluetooth not wifi which is only used for updating, apps on the ionic, music, and Firmware.
My solution il had been to log out/in
Or clear the Fitbit's data
Worse case remove the Fitbit app and install a fresh copy.
None of the normal steps have helped.
