I am in love with my Fitbit Alta hr but my new job requires me to take vitals and putting my hands in and out of large tanks. So I am in need of a Fitbit with a longer screen time out and water resistance. Any nurses, vets, or others that would recommend a new Fitbit for me? Thanks!

Hi @Laadelmann.  Welcome to the Fitbit forums.

The Versa is water resistant to 50 meters, and allows you to adjust time on up to 60 seconds max, though of course decreasing battery charge length.

The Charge 3 and Ionic are also swimproof, but I don't think long enough display time for vitals, and display time not adjustable.

 

But, I don't use it like that so hopefully some nurses will weight in on this as well.

 

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
