So, I have had many fitbits, replacements, and some devices just quit working without any warning. Or some devices quit a few weeks after warranty. I want to continue to be a loyal Fitbit customer. I love the app when it isn't glitchy. The fact that it tracks my heart rate,my steps, and my sleep cycles is awesome.
However, I do not have 189.00 every year or year and a half to buy a new Fitbit. When the charge 3 came out I was so excited because I wanted to swim with my fitbit. It was so glitchy I ended up getting the versa 1 I was happy with it for about 11months. Then I had to get a replacement. My friend had a versa 1 replaced 8 times!!!! 8 that is just absurd. So I go to the help forums to troubleshoot and do a factory reset. I had just gotten my earth badge... 7,900 lifetime miles. I'm not rough on my devices at all. But the HR monitor quit working and the time was slow. It was a mess. So I call customer support and they are having phone issues... For a few days... Well, I can't be without a device. So I got a versa 2. Now the app keeps sending me messages about getting the extended warranty. Where was it a year and a half ago? So when I get a Fitbit and it breaks down just after warranty. They offer a discount on the next device. What if I'm just done and want my money back?
Hopefully customer support will see this message and somehow make things right.
