Not getting Facebook notifications on my Versa

Hi,

I'm not getting Facebook notifications on my Versa. I've managed to work out how to get calls and texts through and have done everything suggested so far to try and get the messenger (facebook) notifications as well, but not getting anything. I have had a couple of friends message me this afternoon whilst I've continued to set up my Versa so know it should in theory of been working.

The Fitbit app has got it ticked as an option.

@Zoe65 Can you see FB notifications in your phone's Notification Centre?

Yes and I had tried everything that had been suggested in various groups, on here and Youtube regarding notifications and it wasn't working. I even force stopped the Fitbit app as that had been suggested somewhere and that didn't work. Then suddenly as I went to bed that evening, I started receiving messages on it.
Not sure if they are still going to them as didn't wear watch yesterday - need to sort strap out and am unwell but am going to try and wear it today.

@Zoe65 it seems like your Versa synced. Did you perhaps place it on charger?

No, the charger was just on the side/had put it back in the box, which I then got up/out to see why it was vibrating.

@Zoe65 I was just curious. Anyways, to receive the notifications there need to be a stable bluetooth connection between Versa and your phone. To sync, this connection needs to be present as well. Please keep an eye on your notifications and report back! Have fun with your new tracker! 😄

So far everything but Whatsapp is working, but I've not had anyone to try Whatsapp yet (tbh I could get my mum to send me something) - Of course with it being NYE, I may get a few messages come through on it, so will wait and see on that front, but I can certainly say FB messages were working still this morning.

Whatsapp is working as just got a message on it. So will put this as solved now. Thank you for all your help.
