Not getting text notifications on the Versa

I am not getting my text messages on my versa. It worked when I 1st set it up for about the 1st couple messages and now I get nothing. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the app, restart my versa, and nothing is working. I get all the other notifications though

This fix didn't work for me.  I have a Samsung Galaxy S10 and it worked fine with the Versa 2 when I first got the Fitbit.  I am very frustrated with the problem.  Phone calls show up, but text do not.

I upgraded from a Fitbit Blaze to Versa 2.  When I first got the new Versa, my phone and text messages were coming through to the Fitbit.  Suddenly, the text messages have stopped.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  I have a Samsung Galaxy S10 phone.  I have had the phone since August.  I updated my Fitbit in December.

i also have the same problem.  it was working fine up until recently.  all notification go through except text messages.  i have samsung s10e.  

i tried reboot versa, my phone, even remove it from the app and re-add. nth helps

I  also tried all the things that you mentioned.  It is very frustrating and makes no sense that it worked and then stopped.

Oh wow. Nice to know now. I would’ve just bought an Apple Watch. Now I’m pissed off at this waste of money

I did a live chat with a rep at Fitbit this evening and this is what I was told.

For me it came back once the system was updated. Continue to update your
Fitbit and the application on your phone

I just got a brand new pebble since mine wasn’t working, and hoping that maybe it would work. Set it all up as a brand new versa and still nothing. It’s very frustrating to pay all that money and it not working like it’s supposed to

I had to turn on the “always” show previews to my messages (which I don’t like) or else it won’t work. It’s the weirdest freaking thing. Not sure why that is the key to it working

Always show ...where?  Fitbit app ir on watch. Sorry need step by stepSent via the Samsung Galaxy S10e, an AT&T 5G Evolution capable smartphone

What's even more freakin weird is that I had to turn OFF my show preview texts in lock or pop up mode on my S10 in text message settings in order for my fitbit versa lite to actually get text notifications! That's so bizarre!!! I liked seeing the preview! Ugh!
