Not getting text notifications

I just got my versa 2 days ago and my messanger plus app will not give me notifications on watch.  I have called fitbit several times and have gone through many different steps. They finally emailed me and tols me i am.just goong to have to wait for an update on versa when they get this fixed.  They advertise that it is a feature and is frustating that it will not work.

I'm having the same issue, but only since last nights update to the newest software.  It was working fine until then.   I also have messenger +.  I spent over an hour on the phone with fitbit twice today and even went as far as to uninstall the app and do a factory reset on the versa.  I still get email notifications, FB messenger notifications, etc., just no text messages.  They finally ended up telling me they are having some issues with the messaging and are working on it...

Thanks this sound like my exact situation...very frustrating bevause i bought something with the hope the features that they state it has had worked.  I would like to know how long this will be an issue

Many members have reported that message+ does not work because it doesn't use the same protocol for text retrieval within Android. Not sure if someone tried this, but set your messaging app as whatsapp or something else and select message+ within app notifications section instead in the fitbit app.

Thank you for this suggestion. I did try this, but still no notifications
for text messages. It did work fine with message + until the latest
update. I'm willing to try anything else you may have to suggest.

A temporary fix is to install the app "Fit Notifications" on your phone. Then you can use Message+ on your phone, and the notifications on your watch need to be set to "Fit Notifications." I do receive messages on my watch now from Message+, but the quick reply option isn't there.

This is super frustrating. If I can't reply then I need my phone out
anyways so kinda pointless. I would like to know when they'll have this
fixed.
