Not receiving notifications

I have the Fibit Versa and have had it for almost a year. I have had no problems receiving notifications from my phone up until now (or if I do, I sync it or I restart my versa and everything is fine). But for the last couple of days I haven't been able to receive all notifications from my phone. I have restarted my phone and fitbit, synced them a lot, turned off and on notifications from the app and nothing seems to work. Basically tried everything it says in these forums to try and get it to work. What I don't understand is that my versa is getting some notifications but not all. I no longer get text messages, facebook or snapchat notifications (there might be more that I am not getting that I'm not aware of). Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to solve this?

I have the same problem. I tryed to reset my versa but it did’tn work......

It’s hit or miss with phone calls but no text notifications at all. My daughters versa either. It’s on their end. Probably something with the versa 2 firmware as far as future needs.

For 3 days now I have been unable to get notifications from WhatsApp ( seemed to coincide with a WhatsApp update). But I get all other notifications. Have checked all settings. Uninstalled and re installed WhatsApp. Restarted Fitbit.

I got a new phone P30lite and did a phoneclone so all my apps loaded onto the new phone but ever since Friday I don't receive notifications either. Here and there maybe but like today nothing. At one stage on the fitbit app it said I need to restart my phone and I did do it and yet nothing is happening. The female health is also not working. If I click on it on the app it opens for literally a few seconds and then closes by itself. This is really frustrating

@Vicky1212 when asking about an issue with your phone, please include the type of phone. 

You say that your notification issue started recently. Did you recently update your Fitbit app or your phones operating system? 

 

If your having the same issue, then we will need to know what phone is giving you a problem. Did you recently update something. 

Have you guys checked the OS board for your phone? Your question may have already been answered. 

 

@Meyerine the Fitbit app gets installed differently on different phones. I suggest removing the Fitbit app, restarting the phone to clear out residual pieces of the app and installing a fresh copy of Fitbit.
