Not receiving text messages on versa 2

I got this today. Everything works except text messages. I have done everything it says for trouble shooting and still nothing. I have an iphone7.

I'm using a Samsung S8 and have had the same problem for a couple of months.  Not sure what they're doing about this but hopefully it gets addressed soon....

Yea like I’m getting no notifications from Facebook or Snapchat or text, but I do get phone calls,

Same exact thing with me but I have an iPhone 11. What is going on?!

I found something in the help section under Notifications and this seemed to do the trick.

1.  In the Fitbit app go to Notifications and turn off all notifications.

2.  Restart phone

3.  Go back into Fitbit app and turn on all of the notifications.

4.  Resync your device in the app

 

When I went to Notifications in the app (after resyncing in step 4 above) it started asking if Fitbit could access my contacts, etc., etc.  I said yes to all of the prompts. 

My son sent me a text as a test and it worked.

 

Hope the above works for all of you.  How long it holds up remains to be seen but so far so good...

I have a iPhone 11 also. I spent hours last night trying to get this
figured out and did read on some readings that verse two has this problem.
This was a Christmas gift but I do believe I’m going to take it back and
get something different. Please let me know if you come up with any
solutions.

Same problem except my versa 2 doesn’t keep a good wifi connection and says the wifi IP is off. I did all the troubleshooting there is and still nothing. I even changed routers and it has a hard time connecting to the internet. I’m returning, sadly. 😢
