Not syncing

 Just got my Fitbit Versa in the mail yesterday. Set up and did the update as stated. Synced it with my phone. I did ok for 30 min then would not refresh or sync after that. Went to bed, woke up and no new info or changes noted. I turned off the bluetooth and turned back on, I removed all prior synced devices even my car audio, it reconnected and synced but that was at 9 am today and has not done so since then. I have to disconnect and reconnect the bluetooth to get my data updated. Is this normal? I have read many and many similar complaints regarding this. Please dont tell me I just wasted money for this.

Are you using an Android 8 or 9 mobile @valeriech ?

Technicians are working on this temporary problem this week with background syncs, there are a couple things you can try in the link while the techs are on it.
