I've a Xiaomi RedMi 4X - which appears as 'supported' in the list but alas the notifications do not work.
Fitbit Android app/notifications indicates:
"Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker"
(latest MIUI - MIUI Global | Stable 10.1.1.0 (NAMIFFI) Hopefully fitbit will do the an update to satisfy other Xiaomi owners too!)
Best AnswerI have Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, and i experience the same problem. It was running smoothly for half a year, then a few weeks ago I started to get the "Notification not not running, need to restart phone message".
I restarted the phone, reinstalled fitbit app, restarted my Versa, more than one time.
I am kinda hopeless....
Somebody please help!!
Only fitbit can help us. I hope they ll take in charge the lack of compatibility between Xiaomi phones and their watches
Best AnswerWell I guess I'm lucky in the sense that I spotted this issue within a week or so of purchase so I've gotten a refund (Amazon) perhaps a Mi Fit is the way to go - quarter of the price, same functionality. My mistake was to trust the reputation of Fit Bit!
