This is nuts and clearly a Fitbit OS issue.
"Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enabel notification on your tracker."
Fitbit techs ? I'm an IT manager and cannot get this Versa 2, that I paid a good bit of money for at christmas, to functioning as you state it should.
Do you have a solution to this yet ?
P.S its not the phone, not my phone and not others phones, its clearly a issue with your device, having read the multitude of similar reports.
When can we expect a solution Fitbit Techs ?
Thank you.

Same got it for Christmas and the text notifications are not syncing. Did all the shut downs and restarts. I might have to return this product I had high hopes for.

This issue has been happening for months now. I have a Charge 2. Getting the same error as everyone else.
Why is Fitbit ignoring this, or writing it off as individual issues????
There was a fix for this error about a year ago, then it came back. Re-installing the app only remedies it for a few minutes, then it goes back to not working. Seriously makes the watch worthless. If this isn't fixed soon, I will be getting a different brand fitness watch. Very upsetting

All of a sudden, I'm having the same issue. Notifications from my phone don't get displayed on my Fitbit Versa.
