Notifications not clearing

Is anyone else having an issue where their notifications don’t all clear? At first it was just the very first one I got but now it seems one every day stays on. If I pull down the notifications I have one from Christmas Day (when I got it) and random days after that I have seen and tried to clear many times!

@jessdreamy known issue. Reboot your phone and Versa. If this doesn't help reinstall Fitbit app.

@jessdreamy Press and hold the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes. Welcome to the Fitbit family!

Thanks, that just worked for me, too. This is a new issue for me. I hope Fitbit resolves it quickly.

Hi,

First off thanks for the reset solution it works.

However, why is it required? Please Fitbit fix

Leaving All-Day Sync on helps avoid the issue completely.

Hi, maybe you do not suffer from this problem that's already mentioned by a lot of users, but All Day Sync is not the solution for this problem unfortunately. Only restarting several times is the real solution.

Best Answer

I do have the same problem. Once you get them cleared, the way to prevent them from recurring is to turn on All-Day Sync.

I have All Day Sync also enabled, but - in my case - it does not prevent this issue, sorry.

Actually, @Kalnel is right. Anything that helps stable sync (and that's All-day sync) and bluetooth connectivity has impact on that issue. Same as rebooting, repairing and sometimes even clearing the cache. These tricks may not eliminate the problem permanently, but definitely help reduce it.

Yup. Nothing works for every person 100% of the time, but I can say that since I turned on All-Day Sync four days ago, I haven't had a single notification get stuck/fail to clear. They all sync in real-time with my phone now. I get at least 50-100 notifications a day, so that seems pretty robust to me.

I am taking a hit on battery life on my phone and the Versa, but nothing major.

Hi yes it does work but I shouldn’t have to be doing this a lot so in this case I will have to contact Fitbit
