@QueenB76 Open your Fitbit mobile app, tap on Versa icon, Notifications and open App Notifications. Make sure Whatsapp and Messenger are selected there. Sync. Let me know if that helped.

I'm having a similar issue with my Samsung S9+. I accidentally pressed since buttons on my versa whwhi trying to change the wristband and now I'm not receiving any notifications, even the test call. I've already restarted phone and Versa, unpaired then paired again, not sure what what to do. I called customer service twice and got hung up on! So frustrated!

Yes annoyingly I can get my text messages up without having preview on but I have to have preview on my WhatsApp which I hate doing.
My friend has exactly the same Fitbit Versa and same iPhone yet she can get WhatsApp content on Fitbit without having preview on her phone. I have tried everything to make it work bye will only work if I have preview on

@Sarah-JaneC It's because of the difference in the Notification Centers between Android and iOS. You should be able to change the notifications priority to moderate and that should turn off drawing over applications - basically you want to choose the option that will give you a preview in the Notification Center (Status Bar) but without preview on the screen. Try googling or digging in the Android App Notifications settings.

@Sarah-JaneC I'm glad. Yes, iphone has an equivalent - you can select how the notifications are being displayed etc. 😄

Notifications are not working for me either. I use OnePlus7. The Notifications work only for 30 mins after o reset/reboot. There is no connection with any other app then. Is there any solution to this?

@Vruksha0293 OnePlus phones manage battery very aggressively by killing off lots of background processes. Make sure you turned off battery optimization for Fitbit app in Android settings. Also, make sure All-day sync and Always connected are enabled in the Fitbit app for Versa.
