Thinking about upgrading my Charge 2 to either the Versa or the Ionic.  Would love opinions for those that have recently upgraded.  Did they stop making the Surge and the Blaze.

@AndieL Versa is better for small wrists. It's a much smaller and lighter form factor and you can find a wide variety of 3rd party bands that are actually size small. Beware, though, that changing the band on a Versa can be a bit of a challenge. The connector is a standard 24 mm quick release watch pin. But, for the rubber/ plastic bands especially, it's at a weird angle and kind of tight. Changing the Ionic band is really fast and easy.

If you like to run/ walk outside, Ionic does have onboard GPS, rather than "connected" GPS, which Versa has. In case you're not sure, the latter means it connects to your phone for GPS.

Which band do you like better? I have a small wrist so that is good to know.  Do you know how it is to sleep with/sleep tracking?  This is something my doctor always looks at as it is a problem.   Thanks for the input

If you're talking specific bands, the following are really great:

The only bands I could find that I really liked for the Ionic were the OEM Fitbit "sport" bands and the colors were very limited.

As for sleep tracking, I definitely need to manually adjust my times every morning. And it definitely seems to think I sleep a little worse than I think I sleep. But I'm mostly satisfied. If you look at some of my other posts, I've been having a problem with my Versa restarting itself (it vibrates when it starts up) or just vibrating for no reason in the middle of the night and waking me up. Fitbit support is notorious for gaslighting and telling people that they're the only ones having a problem, but I really do think that this problem is rare.

That aside, Versa is super lightweight and comfortable. I'm an itchy person (I've been known to buy 600 thread Egyptian cotton sheets and wonder why I'm sleeping on sandpaper) and I mark easily and I rarely itch or get a mark from my Versa or bands. The back is flat, unlike previous Fitbits with heart rate monitors. Some people complain about the light waking them up, but I'm not sure how, as the back lies really flat on your wrist.

ALSO - sorry, clearly I'm a talker - this is the first wrist worn Fitbit I've had, besides the original Flex, where the electronics aren't a ton wider than my wrist, so there's not a lot of extra space on the sides that looks weird.
