Overachiever notification error

I often get overachiever notifications that are clearly incorrect. This has occurred for years while wearing different devices and using different phones. My goal is 10k steps and hasn't changed. It's saying I am 14k over my goal, but I only have 13k total. These "phantom" notifications come even when I haven't reached my goal. Screen shots of notification and step count

To attach screenshots, use "Photos" icon just above text box.

That wasn't working when I posted originally.

One thing I notice from the screenshot is that your phone is in the midst of a sync, because the blue horizontal line near the top has a darker portion at the left.  When the sync completes, that dark blue will have moved the whole way to the right, leaving no light blue.  And during a sync, I often see the totals drop down, then come back up when the sync is completed.

I'm not necessarily saying this explains your issue, just that you cannot put faith in your totals until a sync completes.  Sometimes my sync gets like that and doesn't move for a long time, in which case sometimes I just reboot my phone and/or restart my tracker to get a sync to complete.

This has been happening to me too, did you manage to fix it?
