I have seen many people post about Versa, Versa 2 having problems syncing and then finding the problem to be that the watch is not connecting to WiFi. The WiFi setting screen in the app would sit with a spinning circle and not load anything. I have also had this problem for some weeks. This problem may also be linked to the watch time being incorrect and loosing time each night.
After daughter having a look through settings and other possible solutions/factor resets etc., an accidental fix may have been found. This fix was specifically found on an android phone, not sure if anything equivalent may be available for iPhones.
>Go to phone settings.
>Find "Apps"
>Find "Fitbit" app
>Press "mobile data"
>There is "Allow background data usage" option.
>TURN THIS OFF.
Can't explain why or how but after doing this, everything suddenly started syncing again over the WiFi at home. Updates caught up from factory reset and clock features were returned.
Haven't had chance to see if this may fix the problem of loosing time every night so will post again if it still persists.
