My question is probably a little stupid, but I wanted to clarify. Pace is essentially how fast I am running that kilometre, I.e if my current average pace is 7.45 essentially that means it take 7.45 mins to run a KM, and not km per hour.

Hello @Sianny and a warm welcome.  Correct!  Pace is minutes per km.  Speed is km per hour.
