Pairing versa with a Droid turbo

I just got a Fitbit versa for father's day and during the initial setup my Droid turbo and the versa will not pair. I have followed all the steps repeatedly and still no luck. Please help.  Thanks.

Nice Father's Day present.

 

These devices pair to the email address, not to the bluetooth device. On my Android, it doesn't list my Fitbit as a bluetooth device, but as being paired.
