I downloaded the Drivebit app and that works awesome or so I thought. When I looked at the step count in a weekly challenge I have over 56K but when I look at my week to date which starts on Monday I am only at 51K. I drove 7 hours today so very few real steps. Is there a way to keep phantom steps from showing in challenges? I was hoping logging the drive time would do it but apparently not.

Have you added your vote
Add "Driving Mode" Feature to avoid erroneous step...
Don't add drivingsteps to challenges
I also found a newer request for the ionic and versa
Other than that I can only recomend using the app called DriveBit or TravelBit on the phone. If the driving is logged before the tracker syncs, the steps may not be transfered to the challange.

Thanks Rich, yeah I am using Drivebit and it does remove the steps from my dashboard but not challenges. Seems like this is a bug and reading the links you posted, one that has been around for years with no resolution. Sad. I am thinking of getting rid of my Versa and going back to the Charge2 I had previously, I wasn't getting all these phantom steps, floors and activities until I got the Versa.

Sounds like you're misunderstanding a non implemented feature for an unplanned bug .
Seeing that the developers never thought about adding this feature, I'm hard to call it a bug, but at best, a lack of proper troubleshooting .
