Plastic on Versa sensor

Hi all

 

I got my Versa yesterday and have noticed a plastic tab on either side of the sensor on the back. It is already peeling at one end. Am I supposed to pull this off?

There should have been a similar plastic cover over watch face.  Remove them both by pulling tab.  They are there just to protect in shipping.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
